Great value
Monroe shocks have been used by my family for 60 years. I found your site and made the decision to purchase shocks and struts for my daughters Ford Escape. Easy installation and the ride and feel was like the day we purchased it. Great value, price and quick shipping.
Great company! Fast shipping! And excellent product! These guys seem to go above and beyond to make sure they have a happy and repeating customer at the end of the day . Thanks again!

Challenging '08 TSX Refresh
Hello, When I chose to restore my 2008 Acura TSX to stock height, I didn't know much about shocks and part numbers. I did a Google search and found a Monroe Quick-Strut Set on the Shock Surplus website for 539.99. Turns out 2 of the 4 coil-over shocks were not for an Acura TSX. The web page with the set lists 4 part numbers: Front Left-172322R (actually front right shock), Front Right-172324 (actually a rear shock), and Rear-172331 (for a Chrysler). I went to install front shocks and realized I needed 172322L, so 172324 was returned for 172322L. Customer support was responsive over email. I wanted a phone call, but all interactions occured over email. After installing fronts I started on rears, but after removing a rear, I realized that the 172331s were wrong, and the 172324 I sent back was what was needed. So back to email to ask for the quantity 2, 172324s. The customer service rep sent the 172324s after I sent a receipt for shipping the 172331s back. The 172324s showed up and the TSX is back to stock height. Shock Surplus sent me prepaid mailing labels, so I had no additional cost for sending shocks back to Shock Surplus. I had about a 2 week delay overall, but no additional costs to resolve the part number issues. What would have been the best outcome, after reviewing the events, would have been at the first email. Instead of exchanging the 172324 for the front left shock, the customer service rep could have said, "Hey, that is weird, let me see why a front left shock was not sent in the 2008 TSX Package." At that point, the people behind the scenes at Shock Surplus could have verified that the 08 TSX Package was way wrong and said, "Sorry for sending the wrong shocks. We realized we messed up our 08 TSX Package. You actually want to keep the 172324 and send back the 172331s. We will send you an additional 172324 for the rear and a 172322L for the front left." And then fix up the 2008 Acura TSX Package to have the correct part numbers. So 1-star for eventually getting me the right shocks. 1-star for sending prepaid shipping labels. Note: as of this review, the website is still wrong. Note: I could have purchased the shocks cheaper at other websites if I knew the part numbers I needed. Good Luck
