Bilstein's 6112 shock and spring package is designed for the adventure enthusiast wanting more out of their daily-driver or weekend ride. Extremely capable not only off-road, but also dramatically improves on-road handling characteristics and road feedback. The height adjustment of the 6112 kit allows the drive to remain at factory height, or to level out the front end of the vehicle for larger wheel and tire clearance. This Bilstein kit rivals 2.5" race-series shocks and coilovers from the competition, in an easily accessible performance package that can get you almost anywhere off-road. The 5100 monotube design and patented digressive valving is uniquely suited to confront these demands. On or off-road, loaded or unloaded, Bilstein shocks instantly react to changing road inputs to maintain a stable, controlled, and comfortable ride. Bilstein's superior monotube high gas pressure design allows the excessive heat from the oil to transfer to the outer surface of the shock body and dissipate more efficiently. The dividing piston also permits the oil to expand as heat builds, preventing aeration (foaming) and viscosity loss. This allows the shock to maintain full damping characteristics as temperatures rise.

2020 Silverado LTZ 4x4 Z71 6.2L Bilstein 6112 leveling kit
This Kit came with everything needed and was easy to install. Their How To videos were very helpful. The ride quality of these new shocks are much better then the factory Rancho. The only problem is the 2 inch leveling setting for my truck is actually too high in the front now. For the options that are on my truck it calls for the clip to be in the top most ring grove. This is most unfortunate because now I have to disassemble my truck and then dissemble the shock assembly to move the clip down to the next grove. This setting is what Bilstein calls for on my truck and it is how Shock Surplus set it up. I am not going to change it right now. I am going to drive it for a while and hope it settles out. I still highly recommend this kit and Shock Surplus. They were very good to work with. If you have a truck similar to mine you may want to research the shock setting and get feedback from others that have installed them on their trucks and see how theirs turned out.
