Bilstein 6112 and 5160
My experience thus far has been not been great. I order the show is back in late November 2024. I only received the front shocks on 12/30/2024. I got an email stating I received the entire package. I waited a few days thinking it might take a bit for them to come in for the holidays. I emailed them on 1/9/2025 for an update and they said they would check with there warehouse to see if the shocks were on their way. I called on 1/10/2025 went straight to voicemail and left a voicemail. I called again on 1/13/2024 and straight to voicemail, left a message and sent an email. On 1/14/2024 I called again and went to voicemail and i left another message. I still have still not received a message or call back for an update. I don’t even know if they addressing the situation.

22 Tacoma TRD
Shock surplus built my front struts with a 2” lift and no extra weight on the front. They told me I could build it for a bumper or winch or whatever, but I wanted to keep the weight off the front of this one as I do a lot of desert and high mountain trails down here in NM. I then had Boise springworks build a set of springs for the rear to handle an extra 500 lbs while providing an 2 1/2 inch lift and put on a Ovrlnd camper. Camper weighs about 275 lbs. Truck has a little rake and I can load it up if needed to well over 750lbs with no noticeable sag. The build turned out perfect. Suspension is super smooth and I think I got an extra inch of travel on rear wheels with the dual reservoir 5160’s. Weekend warrior ready for anything. I’ve had them on for over a year and there is no way I would go any other route for the money. Very limited body roll, great in town and awesome in the hills. Also running 255/85 tires. Custom springs/struts/shocks/wheels make the truck. Thanks guys!
Bilstein 6112/5160’s
Shock installation was easy enough and shocks appear and feel to be great quality. Ride quality: at first, I was concerned as small bumps are still jolt a bit, but big bumps are where these shocks shine through. I purposely hit pot holes, speed bumps, and even drive over roundabouts at quick speeds to test the shocks. I’m always impressed at the amount of absorption they have. Not to say it’s like magic and you can’t feel it, you’re still hitting a big bump, but compared to stock, well worth the money. Super happy with the product.
