Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America warrants its gas pressure shock absorbers against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you, the original purchaser, own your car.

If a shock, strut, or coil-over malfunctions and BILSTEIN determines it to be defective, we will either replace it or repair it, depending on the term of the warranty based on the assembly's model type.

BILSTEIN from the factory (original equipment), warranty claims must be directed to the vehicle manufacturer.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

BILSTEIN warrants to the original retail purchaser that, for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, the B4 OE Replacement (Air) suspension and Steering Racks shall be free from defects in workmanship and/or material. Proof of purchase is required to process warranty. Please return product to the original place of purchase.

LIMITED 90 DAY WARRANTY

BILSTEIN warrants to the original retail purchaser that, for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase, this product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness or fitness for particular purpose, except as may be prohibited by applicable law, is likewise limited in duration to ninety (90) days from the date of original retail purchase. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover normal wear and tear or any other loss, liability or damage resulting from improper alteration, disassembly, handling, installation, service, repair or use of this product. Should this product fail as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship within the warranty period, contact BILSTEIN's Warranty Service Department by telephone at 1(800) 370-9522, or in writing at thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America 14102 Stowe Drive, Poway, California, 92064, for repair or replacement at Manufacturer's option. Do not return this motorsports product to the place of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to process warranty.

WARRANTY RESTRICTIONS

The limited warranties set forth above do not cover normal wear and tear and are non-transferable. The following are warranty exclusions:

Original equipment shock absorbers (vehicle manufacturer warranty) -Improper installation -Racing, driving competition or off-road use -Modified use or other than BILSTEIN recommended vehicles -Commercial vehicles -Bent or broken Rods showing abuse or abnormal wear

Surface finish, boot or mounting hardware such as, but not limited to, rubber bushings, as well as labor charges are not covered by any of the foregoing limited warranties. BILSTEIN's liability for a defective shock absorber is limited to replacement of shock with a new or reconditioned BILSTEIN shock absorber. Repair or replacement as provided by this warranty is customer's sole and exclusive remedy in the event of a product failure. Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or other damages resulting from the disassembly, handling, installation, service, repair or use of this product. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Note: Other exclusions may or may not apply in certain states or rare circumstances.

30-Day Return Policy — Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and include all original hardware.

No restocking fees for exchanges or gift card credit.
10% restocking fee on refunds, returns cost us real money, so the 10% helps keep the lights on.
Installed, damaged, or dirty parts cannot be returned.
Any returns missing hardware or miscellaneous items, the return will be denied and returned to the buyer at the buyer's expense.

Great customer support

Opted to get the coil overs installed by shock surplus. Originally were back ordered for two weeks due to staffing issues. Still purchased these coil overs and received wilt in a week. Thank shock surplus for fast service.

2010 F150

Install was pretty smooth about 2.5 hours with air tools. Completely changed the handling of my truck for cab roll at speed in corners by 75% I would guess. The sag when accelerating and squish when breaking has been reduced by 95% I would say. I had original struts and springs with 146k on them so they were tired but I love the feel it has now. I went with the 4th clip placement and my front is 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than backend now. But that’s a cheap easy and cheap fix with small blocks or added leaf. I already had the replaced the rears with 5100’s. Bilstiens really are pretty great.

Bistein 6112 F150 HD

The 6112's are a great upgrade from stock and leveled the trucks appearance. The ride has certainly changed from stock, much better, smoother with less bounce. I also replaced the rear shocks with 5160's to complete the package. Better than Fox 2.0 coilovers

I bought these shocks to replace my Fox 2.0 coilovers which had blown a seal & leaked out all the fluid. Those shocks were a few years old & not abused by off-roading or anything abnormal (95% typical driving). The Bilsteins feel a bit softer/more compliant than the Fox, which is nice. For roughly the same price as Fox, these seem quite robust & the best part is limited LIFETIME warranty. I thought Fox was a reputable brand, but considering they leaked (Ive found similar reviews to my experience) and they only offer a 1 year warranty I don’t think they’re worth the price. I’m optimistic about the Bilsteins & I’m hoping this is the last time I have to change the coilovers on my truck. Shock Surplus had a good price & made things easy by pre-assembling these coilovers to your specifications (no need to deal with a spring compressor if you don’t have access to one). Only time will tell, but my experience with SS was pleasant & I like the 6112s so far.
