FOX releases Extended Length 2.5 Factory Series Coilovers for 4-6" Lift Kits

Posted by Sean Reyes on

FOX has released a line of extended length coilovers to accommodate 4-6" lift systems that utilize dropdown crossmembers on late model strut-equipped trucks (F150, Tacoma, Tundra, Silverado, etc). This means those tall steel spacers on top of the factory-height strut tower in your 6" lift kits can be done away with! While the spacers were not detrimental to ride quality, they did nothing to improve the performance or travel availability of your truck.

These new coilovers fit many different brands of lift kits that utilize tall strut spacers:

  • Pro Comp
  • Fabtech
  • Superlift
  • Skyjacker
  • BDS
  • Rough Country
  • Tuff Country
  • Rancho

These new extended travel 2.5 Factory Series coilovers will provide more capability off-road in tough terrain, more durability through billet aluminum race components and an overall better shock than factory. Ride quality is hugely improved as well compared to any 1.8-2inch shock.

Here's what the 2.5 Factory Race Series for the lifted systems looks like, compared to the factory height unit in the 2.0 series.
