Easter Jeep Safari 2019 Recap

How was EJS 2019?

Easter Jeep Safari was more fun than ever this year. Sometimes knowing what lies ahead on your trip can dampen the excitement, but definitely not when you’re headed to Moab, one of the premier adventure destinations in the United States. The abundance of other enthusiast in the area makes for a great social setting of people rocking it outdoors.

Shock Surplus’ trip to Moab included challenging trail runs, incredible views, natural wonders, and gorgeous drives through the local national parks - there’s an unlimited amount of gems and thousands of miles of trails to explore around Moab. Arches National Park at sunrise, red rock canyons under the full moon light, the White Rim trail at the depths of Canyonlands National Park, a week is surely not enough.

Our trail runs with a few different groups taught us even more about our own rig, how to push it harder while keeping it in one piece, and also when its OK to take that bypass! One upgrade that’s coming to the rig are some air lockers for the rear axle, this kind of crawling will become much easier with a more balanced power-to-wheel distribution.
