2019 Ford Ranger Raptor Spotted in Dearborn, Michigan

Posted by Sean Reyes on

Ford's World Headquarters is in Dearborn, Michigan, the campus is currently undergoing a 10-year rennovation project,

"Ford Motor Company is transforming its more than 60-year-old Dearborn facilities into a modern, green, high-tech campus. The project will colocate 30,000 employees from 70 buildings into primarily two campus locations over a 10-year period."

Ford knows that it needs to bring out the big guns in order to compete in the midsize pickup market against the Tacoma and Colorado, and while the normal Ranger will be hitting dealerships probably at the end of this year, Ford needs more to put a dent in Toyota's market dominance.

This Raptor here is obviously the international version with the right hand drive, other differences could be coming as well for the US market.

And while there's been speculation about whether or not Ford will release the Ranger Raptor in the United States, we think there's no doubt about it. A premium vehicle like this cant flourish without the US' market in our opinion, so we're expecting a 2020 model to hit stateside in the future.
